(57) Disclosed in the present invention is an accessible laparoscopic device for minimally invasive surgeries, comprising a self-correcting camera, plastic top and water-proof elements of the device. The device further comprises a modular housing system, video image autorotation system and strobed illumination system. The modular housing system contains modular components for the camera tube, handle, end caps, seals, cord grip, and cable connectors with different variations that can be made/swapped out depending on user preference, designed to lend itself to be reparable if needed. The modular housing further comprises a cord grip, end cap, proximal large o-ring seal, tube grip, aluminum tube, proximal camera tube o-ring seal, distal large tube o-ring seal, top cap, orientation indicator, distal camera tube o-ring seal, camera tube and camera. The image video autorotation system is embedded in a two-axis tilt sensor in the housing characterized in that the angular information is sent back to the control computer over USB along with the video stream.
